Using  combinations of geometric shapes, everyday still life objects or quiet scenes from nature, Blake endeavors to capture the power and beauty of simplicity.  Inspired by surreal artists, especially Dali and Magritte, the artist often incorporates a playful twist or bit of humor in her compositions.
