Application to exhibit at 310 ART (DBA River’s Edge Studio)

310 ART is a small professional exhibition and sales venue for local experimental contemporary artists working in any 2-D media and 3-D wall art. Work is selected based on excellence of work and a command of medium, the artist’s dedication to growth and learning, a spirit of experimentation that is evident in the work, a strong dedication to art as a career as demonstrated by a history of hard work and evidence of a willingness to try new things. Only artists working in series who can offer a strong cohesive presentation will be considered. 

This is a fine art space for exhibition of contemporary original artwork only (no giclee or craft items). Artists are free to sell giclee on their own, but reproductions will not be exhibited in this limited space. All applications will be given consideration should space become available regardless of when the application is received, and selections will be made on the above criteria, as well as what work fits best with the current work on exhibit. Each artist exhibiting will work directly with curator to select the work that best fits into the space, and pricing will be determined when work is selected. Exhibiting artists are encouraged to be present to meet collectors during stroll and other events, and spend some time (a modest committment) during peak season at the space to keep the door opened should we have good traffic. Artists must have a current inventory to replace work sold or rotate their exhibit periodically to keep things looking new.

*Letter of Application. This letter should include your name, address, phone and email, a description of your work, your intended career goals, and why you wish to exhibit here.

 

*Artist’s Resume and Artist’s Statement * List your other current exhibitions venues

 

*10 or more images of your current work (last two years).  Prints or Jpegs are fine. Be sure to use the title of the work in the image name along with Image information in print (size, medium, title of work)
