Explore all the basics of Linoleum Printmaking in this high energy day of learning and make lots of art!.

In this class you will learn how to transfer an image to a linoleum block, safe carving techniques using an assortment of tools, and printing by hand or on a press with environmentally friendlier inks. At the end of the day you will have created two carved blocks and a series of prints to take home.
Bring your ideas, designs or photos to class, and a desire to experiment and play All materials and tools are included. No prior experience or drawing skills are necessary. *Initial printing blocks are included in price - additional blocks may be purchased during class.

Note: This class will be held in Denise’s print studio in our building on the second floor, studio # 224 so you can use her amazing printing presses and tools.. Parking down on the south end is recommended, and we will send directions when you register.. Asheville Print Studio is the only fully equipted “green” (safe and non toxic) print studio in our region! Learn safe practices while you learn new skills.
