Make art that moves!  There is something that brings out childlike joy and wonder when a piece of art becomes interactive.  Surprise your audience with clever techniques that reveal hidden elements - adding dimension, elements, and a changing narrative to your art. 

Using techniques from Heather’s published interactive book, “Pull Me Apart” students will focus on three main mechanisms: lift flaps, pull tabs, and spin wheels.  Through this workshop you create at least two artworks to not just look at, but fully experience.

Heather Clements is a watercolorist, interactive art-maker, and mixed media artist specializing in portraiture and botanicals, as well as creating many murals (including the two largest murals in Bay County, Florida).  Her incredible interactivr work can be seen in both large-scale installments and her fantastic interactive book, “Pull Me Apart”. An award-winning working artist who has been featured in galleries from California to Massachusetts, Heather is now teaching several specialized subjects at 310 Art.
