Saturday, March 15th (10AM to 4PM) and Sunday, March 16th (1PM to 5PM) - $245 - All materials supplied!

This two-day workshop is both FOR BEGINNERS and those with some experience that want to get more out of acrylic paints - you DO NOT need to know how to draw to take this workshop!  

Your first subject will be a still life with Magnolias. Students will learn how to blend the paints to get the look and feeling of delicate petals. This will be a follow along painting so that Lorelle can demonstrate step one step at a time - learn the tips and tricks as you go. In this encouraging enviroment, lots of one-on-one help will be available to students as the day progresses.

Next, students will complete a small painting with a focus on color mixing and the use of complimentary colors to give your painting the WOW factor!

On the second day, Lorelle will provide several references so that students may chose the one they would like to paint - take the lead and explore your new confidence in the acrylic medium. A patient and experienced teacher, Lorelle will guide each student through the steps and process

You will take home three paintings that you can be proud of!

Join others, like you who are excited to take another step in their artistic journey! Bring a lunch on Saturday and a drink for both days, as well as pen and paper for note-taking.

Lorelle Bacon is a thrice nominated “Arts Educator of the Year”, and has been a working arts instructor for three decades. Working and teaching in numerous mediums, Lorelle is a fantastic all-rounder teacher. She has won numerous awards for her art, in both national and international competitions.
