Acrylics are a fantastic medium for all levels of artist - easily accessible, affordable, fast to dry, and vibrant!  But where do you start with Acrylics?  How do you mix the colors you want?  How do you prepare your surface, finish your work, and get the BEST out of the medium?

Whether you are a beginner or just need to brush up on your skills, Lorelle has the answers! She will guide students step by step in completing a 12x16 inch acrylic painting of realistic floral subjects, a great exercise in color-mixing, composition, and learning the quirks of the Acrylic medium.  Learn which paints will give you the result that you want ( You don't need to spend a fortune for good supplies!), how to use warm and cool colors to their fullest potential, and how to avoid your paint looking like the dreaded ‘mud’.

Leave with more confidence in your skills and your ability to paint with acrylics! Bring lunch and a notebook for note taking, all other supplies are provided for the class!
