Have you always wanted to paint with watercolors? Have you put your brush down for a minute and want to get started again in a supportive atmosphere? Not sure where to start? Then this is the class for you!

You will follow Lorelle’s step by step while completing at least THREE paintings. While doing the first painting, you will get experience in mixing your colors and how wet to have your paper for different techniques. Then you will paint a second painting with Lorelle guiding you. You will also learn about paper, brushes and paints that are the best to use without breaking the bank. Lorelle will also cover more advanced techniques such as how to use masking fluid to preserve the whites of your painting, how best to place your focal point, using values to make your painting stand out and more.

This class seats 8 students.

Lorelle Bacon is a thrice nominated “Arts Educator of the Year”, and has been a working arts instructor for three decades. Working and teaching in numerous mediums, Lorelle is a fantastic all-rounder teacher. She has won numerous awards for her art, in both national and international competitions.
