YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DRAW FOR THIS WORKSHOP! It’s all about learning the techniques needed to compose a gorgeous black and white landscape.
What a great medium Pen and Ink is! You can pick it up and put it down as your schedule allows, it takes up little space, has a minimal cost to get started and can reproduce beautifully to make cards and prints from your finished work. It’s the perfect medium to take with you on vacation, to the beach, or out into the woods for a peaceful day of artmaking. Capture not only the look but feeling of the places you visit!
Lorelle will show you from start to finish how important it is to get your values right, as well as different techniques to achieve realistic textures and how to create a mood in your work. You will also take home handouts so you will know where to start when you get hooked on this easy, satisfying medium!
All materials are supplied for the class. Bring a notebook and pen - as well as a desire to learn and make art!

Lorelle Bacon is a thrice nominated “Arts Educator of the Year”, and has been a working arts instructor for three decades. Working and teaching in numerous mediums, Lorelle is a fantastic all-rounder teacher. She has won numerous awards for her art, in both national and international competitions.
