This class isn’t just about warming up your watercolor skills!  Join us in  our cozy classroom for a beginner-friendly class that’s also great fun for watercolorists with more experience. As you paint a winter scene, you will learn some specialty techniques to recreate the look of snow and the quirks of a winter landscape.  Learn what to paint and what to leave open to mimic the look of snow, and how to let just enough light in to make your landscape glow.

Paint two to three small paintings, learning different tips and tricks as you go. All materials are provided for the class, but feel free to bring your favorite brushes and paints (optional), and a notebook + pen!

Lorelle Bacon is a thrice nominated “Arts Educator of the Year”, and has been a working arts instructor for three decades. Working and teaching in numerous mediums, Lorelle is a fantastic all-rounder teacher. She has won numerous awards for her art, in both national and international competitions.
