Would you believe you can create unique works of art with just acrylic paints, a Gelli Arts printing plate, and a few pages from a magazine? What about using laser print-outs to add colorful depth and layers to your work?
In this class, Bridget will demonstrate how students can use gel printing plates to produce a variety of different kinds of transfers! Add color, patterns, and images to your piece before AND after you pull your prints, adding beautiful layers that make every piece unique.
Learn the tips and tricks for selecting images that will give you the most success, which paints and papers are best for these techniques, and how to get consistent results with each print. Learn how to clean and care for gel plates, the best thickness for rolling out your paint, and why these seemingly magic transfer techniques work the way they do.
This is a can’t-miss class for collage artists, junk journalers, wabi-sabi enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to add more VISUAL INTEREST to any art project!
This class seats 10 students. For any questions regarding our cancellation or transfer policy, please refer to the link in our navigation bar.
