$155.00

Thursday September 17th- 1PM to 5PM- $155 - All basic materials supplied, but students will need to bring their own reference image.

Flowers are more than beautiful subjects! They are expressions of movement, light, color, and emotion. Discover the versatility of painting flowers in acrylics!

In this workshop you will learn to move beyond simply painting what you see and instead capture the spirit and essence of a flower through expressive abstraction. We will explore the use of bold colors, rich impasto and textured brush and palette knife techniques.

Learn how color can communicate feeling, how texture can create energy, and how simplified shapes can transform a simple bouquet into a compelling work of art! You will be encouraged to trust your intuition, loosen your approach and paint with confidence as you develop your own painting style. Whether you’re an experienced painter or just beginning your artistic journey, you’ll learn new ways to bring your vision to life through vibrant color palette, expressive mark making and richly textured surfaces.

This class seats 8 students.  Cancellation and transfer policies can be found at the link in the navigation bar. Please call (828) 776 2716 or email gallery@310art.com for any questions concerning classes.
