Image transfers can be an easy and interesting way to add another layer to your work on a variety of substrates- paper, canvas, wood, glass, fabric and more! There are so many methods out there, many of which are hit-or-miss with the results - that’s where THIS class comes in!
Robyn will share methods that have considerably more reliable outcomes, as well as instructing students in tips and tricks on how to find a variety of interesting results, textures, and more. Expect demos and step by step instruction of processes as well as lots of play time to create your own image transfers!
After spending time with various techniques, you will work on a project to incorporate an image transfer into a final work. We can provide some paints and paper, or you could bring an unfinished piece of art that didn’t quite work for you to see how image transfer can transform your art. We reccomend an old watercolor or acrylic painting on paper, wood, or a small canvas.
This class seats 8 students. For any questions regarding our cancellation or transfer policy, please refer to the link in our navigation bar.
