RECOVERING FROM HURRICANE HELENE

At the end of September 2024, the immense destruction brought to Western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene became national news. Entire towns were wiped off the map, and the road to recovery has been slow and difficult. Asheville’s vibrant River Arts District was impacted beyond imagination, and the building that housed 310 ART was completely underwater. The river that had provided us with so much inspiration was now six feet above our ceiling.

Our staff, teachers, and artists were lucky to escape with their lives. Out of such tragedy has come a truly humbling amount of support in the form of donations, supplies, friendship, and a new location in which to host our Fine Art classes. Although we will always grieve the loss of our gallery and studios, we continue to move forward proving a university-level artistic education for adults.

We have been able to take our first steps on the path of recovery, please consider helping us on our journey.

REBUILDING OUR SCHOOL

Providing an income for our teachers and relief for our students has been a priority as we recover. While we now have two fantastic class spaces- including a fully renovated Encaustic classroom - we have lost twenty years of supplies and resources. Please consider donating from our wishlist.
