by Eric M. Scott
It’s all about you in this mixed-media workshop! Using a variety of prompts, exercises, media, techniques, images, and words, you will map out the mystery that is YOU by contemplating where you have been, where you are, and where you are going.
Engage in a process of self-discovery and introspection as you delve into new realms, and set the direction of your intention as you explore a process of personal mapping. Take your art making to a new level as you experiment with layering paint, drawing, collage, text, image transfers, and more to define your personal themes and create artwork from your personal vision. Prepare to get still, get quiet, and go inside as you learn to use mapping as a powerful tool for living and dreaming and for making rich, layered art.
This workshop is an automatic download, and you will have instant access to the PDF of written directions. Part 2
Developing the Path - We take the first steps of our journey with a look back at the past. In order to know where we’re going, we must know where we’ve been. We look at the key moments from our lives and translate them into the ideas and themes we’d like to explore.
Part 3
Narrowing in on the Direction - We focus in on the direction of our intentions as we mull over ideas and home in on the overarching ideas, themes, and questions that will drive our process.
Part 4
Defining the Journey - We delve deeper into our lives as we explore the key people in our lives and the profound impact they have had. We chart our own path as we solidify our ideas and bring resolution too our work.
