Little Pleasures - a visual reminder of thing(s) that have brought joy. A common theme in dreams is the appearance of a path, inviting us to follow towards an unknown destination, and discover something wonderful. My paintings often depict this imagery, because I feel that there is a path always beckoning. This particular painting depicts an actual place in Asheville, a road lined with trees that never fails to explode with color in the Fall. Though I travel this road to take me home, I also would like to think it is inviting us to travel on it in our imagination, and see where it might lead.

This painting is 12x9", oil on cradled panel, framed in a float frame. It is ready to be hung on the wall, or can just as easily find a place on the shelf.
