BEYOND BRUSHES: TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES TO ENHANCE YOUR WATERCOLOR with Nadine Charlsen, OCT 30th (6PM - 7:30PM) 2026
Friday, October 30th - 6PM to 7:30PM - $20 - Demonstration only
Nadine will be joining us to demonstrate tools that an artist can use that go beyond brushes! These non-traditional tools can turn your watercolor into a vibrant exciting work of art - examples of which include: eye droppers, window screens, foot scrubbers, yarn, natural sponges, credit cards and more. All of these tools and more will be demonstrated during this event!
In addition to this, Nadine will also give a presentation on how to start a painting on black watercolor paper, as well as how to finish and protect your painting with a coat of archival art wax.
This demonstration is not to be missed, and you will walk away with a greater understanding of how to take your watercolor paintings into experimental, evocative, and non-traditional areas!
Do you want to expand your experiential watercolor skills even more? This demonstration is FREE for any student that purchases Nadine’s BOLD STROKES: TAKE THE PLUNGE INTO WATERCOLOR class.
