Covid - 19 Update
As we all weather this situation together, we wish you well. We are reviewing our schedule daily, and making decision on our soft reopen for classes based on the state and local guidelines as they are revised frequently as well as the individual needs of our teachers and students. For now we have postponed the classes based on these guidelines, with the plan to reschedule all classes that have enrollment as soon as we can. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to those (most of you) who are sticking with us until we can resume the learning. For now, our policies are as follows:
For postponed classes you have several choices:
You may keep a credit with us for the class when we reschedule You may also switch your tuition to another class and/or use your credit toward a gallery purchase on one of our new online courses. If you wish to remain in the class you do not need to do anything, we will contact you when we reschedule. We will work with you individually to provide you with the services and products you want. For use of your credit toward online classes and gallery purchases, email gallery@310art.com with your requests.
You may choose to make a donation to our school with your tuition. We have put in years building the school and have every plan to continue. As a small business, we are struggling like thousands are, and your support of us and your dedication to the arts is invaluable to us. Your generous support will ensure we are able to continue for years into the future. And thank you for those who have donated and also purchased on our Studio fundraiser on our online store. We are adding new products all the time.
You may request a refund , minus the admin fee to cover the processing fees and administrative costs we incur with each online registration and cancellation in the amount of $50 or 35%, whichever is less per course. Please allow 35 days for refunds to be processed.
We also invite you to look at our online classes, a newly formed component to keep you involved in the arts. And join our new facebook group, 310 ART Online Classroon to stay connected!
Regular Registration and cancellation policy when we reopen:
Payment of Tuition in full guarantees your place in any workshop. We accept registrations first come first served. We feature small class size for your benefit in learning, and due to contractual agreements, materials acquisitions, processing fees and administrative costs we must adhere to the following policies.: For cancellations less than 30 days before the workshop begins, tuition is non-refundable. Before the 30 days, student will receive a 65% refund of full tuition paid only in the event that class can be filled. No refunds will be given for no-shows or withdrawals after a workshop has begun regardless of the reason. If workshop is cancelled, students receive full refund.
Switching course dates policy:
Registrations are not transferable to different courses or different instructor as a rule. Once the course you selected is filled registration is closed. If a new date for this particular course is published you may not change to this new date unless there is someone from a wait list that can fill your vacated place or you personally can give the spot to someone. Please inquire first. You may make the change in this case if before the 30 days, and your tuition minus a $50 admin fee will be applied toward the new date. It is your responsibility to pay the admin fee to secure your place in the new date by check (mail) or cash or check payment in the studio. We will not invoice for balance due fees through an online service due to additional fees and admin involved. If you cancel your class, and request a switch 30 days or less before the class, this is considered a cancellation (see above), and the tuition will be transferred minus 35% fee (or $35 for classes under $100) only in the event that we can fill the class. Please note that last minute cancellations are very difficult to fill from any wait list we might have.
We are happy to keep your name on a wait list for any course that is filled. Should a place become available, we will contact the names on this list first come first served. We take wait lists for any class that is filled by posting this on the class page with instructions on how to get on the lists. Listing a wait list on a class page does not mean we actually have a wait list, only that there is an option for someone to be placed on this list. You MUST request wait list by emailing gallery@310art.com, phone calls will not be accepted for either cancellations of wait list requests.
On weekends if there are snow or ice warnings in our area in the morning, be sure to call us before you set out if you have not been notified. Our mountain terrain can be dangerous. Stay safe.
We list sheduled make-up dates online with our workshop listings in the event we must postpone a workshop due to bad weather in our city. Please mark your calendar with these alternate dates in case they are needed.
